SKAS US operates a staff notification service that sends work-related text messages to its own employees and contracted staff. Messages are short, one-way operational notices relating to your work — for example payroll hours approval reminders, supervision call reminders, help-desk ticket assignments and time-sensitive documentation requests. A message directs you to log in to the SKAS staff portal or to check your work email.
This program is for SKAS US staff only. It is not available to clients, program participants or the general public, and there is no public sign-up. We never include client, participant or health information in a text message.
You join by giving SKAS US your mobile number and consenting, in writing, to receive these notifications — during employee onboarding or by confirming in response to a request from SKAS. Your consent is recorded against your individual staff record. We do not add anyone who has not consented.
Message frequency varies. Messages are sent only when something actually requires your attention, so the number differs from person to person and week to week. In normal operation expect no more than a few messages per month.
SKAS US does not charge for these messages. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile plan and carrier. Check with your mobile carrier if you are unsure what your plan covers.
You can stop the messages at any time. Reply STOP to any message from this service and we will not send you any further texts. Your opt-out is honoured immediately and is recorded against your staff record, so the system will not message you again.
Opting out of text messages does not affect your employment and does not remove you from any other way we contact you. We will still reach you by email and through the SKAS portal.
Reply HELP to any message for assistance, or contact us directly at contact@skasus.net or 303-229-6644.
Text messages are delivered by third-party mobile carriers over networks we do not control. Delivery is not guaranteed, and carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Because delivery cannot be guaranteed, we do not rely on text messages alone for anything that must reach you — the same information is always available in your work email or in the SKAS portal.
The service works on mobile numbers that can receive SMS text messages in the United States. Landlines and numbers that cannot receive SMS will not work.
How we handle your mobile number is described in our Privacy Policy — Text Message Notifications. In short: we use it only to send the notifications described above, and we do not sell, rent or share staff mobile numbers with third parties for marketing purposes.
We may update these terms. The current version is always published on this page with the date it was last revised.
