SKAS US sends SMS notifications only to its own employees and contracted staff, using a mobile number that the individual has provided to us and consented to be contacted on. We do not send text messages to clients, program participants or members of the public, and we do not operate any public text-message sign-up.
Messages are short, one-way operational notifications relating to a person's work — for example payroll hours approval reminders, supervision call reminders, help-desk ticket assignments and time-sensitive documentation requests. A message directs the recipient to log into the SKAS staff portal or to check their work email.
We never include client, participant or health information in a text message. Confidential information remains inside the SKAS portal behind individual authentication.
A staff mobile number is stored against that person's individual staff login and is used only to deliver the notifications described above. We do not sell, rent, or share staff mobile numbers with third parties for marketing purposes. Numbers are disclosed only to the telecommunications provider that delivers the message on our behalf, and only for that purpose. No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Opt-outs are honoured immediately and recorded against your staff record, so no further messages will be sent. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact contact@skasus.net. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies.
We keep a log of the notifications we send — the recipient, the time, the message text and the delivery outcome — so that we can confirm whether a required notice was delivered. Because these messages contain no client or health information, this log holds none either.
